Upgrading ActiveSync versions

A question about upgrading from ActiveSync version 3.7.1 to either 3.8 or 4.0 (to sync with my Axim x50v):

Do I have to first uninstall my current version of ActiveSync before installing the newer version? Or do I just install the new version over the older one?

I could't find any documentation on this.

Thanks for any help on this.

By the way the current version (v4.3)of the driver for Think Outside's bluetooth keyboard requires ActiveSync version 4.0. I just got the keyboard and this is the only reason I'm thinking of upgrading my ActiveSync software.

Go ahead and upgrade without uninstalling the old version.

Upgrade shouldn't be a problem at all I did this many times at work.

By the way, you only need ActiveSync 4.0 to install the latest driver for ThinkOutside's Bluetooth keyboard when using the executable windows file. You could install the driver with a CAB file without any need for ActiveSync 4.0.
I got my keyboard working after overcoming a couple of issues with help from the great info on past forum postings. This is a great community.
