I don't know whether this is a common issue or what, but I can't really find keywords to zero in on it in a search. My problem is lately my activesync connection has become very unreliable.

I believe the problem is on the device side ... I get the "connect sound" when I cradle my device but activesync does not start on the device, even though it is resident at the time (in the programs list). To get it to work again, I have to soft reset the device. This problem comes and goes but lately it's been constant enough to be a big annoyance.

I was using Activesync 3.7.1 and updated to 3.8, no change. Any thoughts?
