Navigation app on iPhone

Does anyone use an iPhone app for off-road navigation (boating, fishing, outdoors)? Any recommendations/comments on your favorite app?

By "off-road navigation," what exactly do you mean? Like turn-by-turn directions for boating or something? (sorry, couldn't resist ;) ).
IMO, Maps should do just fine; try using it in satellite mode. Or maybe Google Earth?

You may make a try using Marine: US West. I like this. It's multiple features would be very helpful for off-road navigation. It is in top 50 iphone app list. So grab it and enjoy your navigation.
