Icon14 Make custom ringtones using only iTunes

Here is the step by step guide about how to make custom ringtones for iPhone using iTunes:

http://www.softdiggs.com/howto/creat...ing-itunes.php

The guide works with the lastest version of iTunes and the newest iPhone 3GS.

Great tutorial that I'd like to share with you here.

Those who are having difficult in changing the .m4a to .m4r. please make sure you have set the file extension visible by clicking the "Tools" -> "Folder options".

It is very frustrating that the free iTunes method only works for DRM free songs. There is lots of music in my iTunes library that is DRM protected.

The good news is that the free iTunes method works with the latest iTunes 9 and iPhone OS 3.1 as well.
