Iphone 3G MMS

If I jail break my 3G phone will i be able to send and receive real MMS TXT, do I need another app what is the recommended app.

It's not the iPhone that's the problem; it's AT&T. They have yet to provide support network for MMS, so even if you jailbreak an iPhone, it's still not MMS-capable, IIRC.
I've heard that you can call AT&T and request an MMS unlock code to "activate it," but I don't remember any of the details. Try a Google.

Just an update related to this thread: AT&T is releasing iPhone MMS on September 25th; there should be a press release on their site.

A little bit ridiculous that its taking this long after ATT promised it earlier twice. There are apparently a number of lawsuits over this and other similar deficiencies.

Right you are. ATT promised to provide with MMS more ago. After a long time they are providing the iphone users with this facility. Anyway hope they will introduce with something new day by day.
