I'm getting an error (500). It gives me the error even after pressing "ok" on the update.

I haven't had any luck with xmltv.exe.. the command box just disappears right after opening.

I have downloaded and can get the xml listings straight from zap2it with this java client.. http://bb.labs.zap2it.com/viewtopic.php?t=17

but couldn't convert the xml to "Listings.dat" with weblink. anybody know what extension weblink takes to convert to .dat?

I believe error 500 is related to your Zap2it subscription being expired.

It is odd that PTVL works for some and not others. I know my subscription at Zap2it is up to date and mine downloads fine although the error messages pop up. I only download 2 days at a time, so I know it's a recent download. I wonder if the people who can't get it to work should check their subscription status. Hey, it might work.

My version of weblink is also 2.0d of 6-15-04. I can cannot copy the activity page but it did its usual thing of downloading channels, sorting, writing, compressing, etc. My other settings are:
Proxy tab: nothing selected
Auto Download: enable auto download (that is all)
Options: 12 days plus the location of my output folder

Doesn't look particularly interesting but maybe something will help someone.

Do you always have weblink active on the system tray? I'll change the settings to yours and see what happens.

Also, are you sync-ing with activesync or manually copying the listings.dat to your Ax?

same here...i tried to use weblink to convert it (it's an option in a menu somewhere), but it just kept trying to look for updates to the software

yah.. I wish there was a way to stop stupid weblink from looking for updates.. thats what locks it up.. otherwise it wouldn't be a problem getting the listings from zap2it.

I have weblink in my startup folder and syncing with ActiveSync.

BREAKTHROUGH!!!!

weblink works on my laptop!!!! it isn't working on the desktop though...my laptop has "version 2.0d of 6-15-04"...

it says "error checking for update", then just downloads the listings anyway!

ok...i just VNC'ed the desktop...it's running the same version!?!?! (i figured as much, since i installed from the same file lol)...but it's odd that my laptop can "continue" when the desktop can't...

i don't see the pattern...both have the same OS (XP pro sp2), same internet connection...it works on the laptop both wired (on the T1 at school) and wireless (on my home DSL)...

i'm honestly perplexed...

well...hopefully it will keep working...if anyone has any questions about my setup that they think may contribute to it, post here or PM me and i'll answer them...
