After uninstall get error message on startup

I uninstalled PPX using the uninstall feature and when I power on the unit I get a message that says...

Cannot execute \program files\ppx\poweron.exe

Any idea how I can eliminate this error message?

Thanks

Browse to \Windows\startup\ and look for a shortcut to something like that and delete it

It sounds like you didn't unload PPX before uninstalling it. michael.pollard an Administrator at the PPX forums says "PPX can't be running when you uninstall. Something running cannot be uninstalled. Do a Hold-Tap->Unload, then uninstall."

Let's see now... Instead of reinstalling it and unistalling it correctly try the trial of memmaid and delete the entry regardng ppx in the notification queue.

HEY SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!! :approve:
Thanks I did the memmaid trick and that did it. I'll check out this program. Do you reccommend it? If so, what all do you use it for?

And what do you mean by Hold-tap->Unload?

Thanks again! Another satisfied customer!!! :approve:

I have Medmaid also. I use it for recovering RAM and cleaning out old/junk files. It works great. It is also wroth the price.
