Mad Flash Player for $499?!?!

So I am reinstalling apps, and have a few that I didn't save. One requires Macromedia Flash Player, a supposedly free app. Well, apparently, as of 10/3 it is no longer free. Not only that, the only way to get it is to pay the $499.00 fee to buy the developer's package!! Unbelievable! I sure hope that someone will come up with another option. In the meantime, if you already have Flash Player 6, do whatever you can to not lose it!

Thanks, I checked it out. I emailed a developer of a program that uses Flash last night in my techno rage who was not pleased about the fact that the company is screwing all the developers over as well who have used and supported it for so long. I don't know. Seems like lousy business to me.
