If you are connected via WiFi, this works pretty good.

You can always use my program Radar Watch which downloads the NWS animated radar. You can find it at my website: http://www.cs.pitt.edu/~jmisurda/ppc/

Thanks for the compliments. The original discussion is in this thread: http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=89913 so maybe if you have any questions they might be answered there. I have a new release in the works, and even and updated one for WM2005 that I should finish one of these days. Never as much time to do all the things I want.

Let me know of any problems/suggestions.

Jon

Yes, certain PDAs have problems with setting the input panel with older versions of the .NET Compact framework. I think service pack 2 or 3 should fix it. I made a version that avoids this problem and posted it in the original thread I linked to.

Go to this post:
http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showp...3&postcount=88

and download the attached program, and replace the one on your device with it. It should then work.

It's not my fault! Honest ;) !

Ok, i think you ran the program you downloaded but didn't overwrite the original program the CAB installed. By default the CAB should have set everything up under \Program Files\RadarWatch\ put the program in there (there should be a current.txt inside that directory to make the program happy.)

To get animated radar, select your city from the File>Configure menu (only need to do once, it'll save your selection.) then go to the animate menu and choose one of the 4 types of radar to download. Start with Short Range Base Reflectivity (weather.gov explains the differences) A progress bar will appear and download 10 images. Then select Go from the Animate menu, to make it display them animated.

I think I'm screwing up stuff.. I put the radar.exe under built in storage.. I ran it and this is what I have...

I don't see anything under \Program Files\RadarWatch\ MAtter of fact I don't see a Radarwatch folder.
