Nevo Remote 2

Has anyone tried this yet? They don't apppear to have any demo available, so I'd like to know that it will work with my X50v before I buy it. It says "Able to support the latest pocket pcs running on Windows Mobile 2003 SE platform." For $12.95, it might be worth a shot. It looks like it has a really nice inteface. Any ideas or comments?

The x50's don't have very good IR ports so it could be difficult to use.

I use Remote Control II (www.wincesoft.de)which works great with my Axim 50v. I think alot of the range depends on the age of the equipment you have. On older A/V components the remote on the axim doesn't have as long of a range as newer A/V components. I have been very have with remote control II, although it is very expensive. I don't regret buying the software.

My guess is that the Nevo product will work well with the Axim.

I used to use the Embedded Nevo remote in my Ipaq (before it got stolen and hence the move to Axim), I liked it. The range is pretty good, especially in a standard sized room. Maybe they will have a demo??

Err.... According to their site, it only comes preexisting on certain OEMS (ie IPAQs), do you have other more current information?

"To get Nevo, you must purchase a device that is
enhanced with Nevo. " -from their site
