What steps to update to latest SKTools?

I currently have SKTools version 1.45 on my Axim X30h. I went to Handango and downloaded the new trial version 2.2.12 to my desktop PC. I then extracted from "sktools.2212.zip" which now displays the various language files and "sktools.exe".

1) Do I need to uninstall my old version 1.45 first?
2) My X30 is on the cradle. When I run the "sktools.exe" will it ask for a regkey? Will my old original regkey work or will I need to obtain a new one somewhere?

Make sure - sktools not started.
Download and install (run sktools.exe) new version.
If you need not English language - install lanfxx.exe file.
Your key will work.

I installed the SKTools. It did not ask for a regkey during the update install. Everything looks good and it is showing the new version number.
