Contacts won't sync with Intellisync anymore
Hopefully someone out there may be able to help. Here are the details:
I use Intellisync v5.01.01 to sync my Axim with Lotus Notes v5.0.7. It has worked reasonably well until today. Last night I established a partnership with a second computer (my home PC) to sync my information there as well. My calendar, tasks, notes and contacts were sync'd at home (others as well, but these are the important ones). This morning, I had difficulty with Intellisync. The problem is the Contacts database. I am able to sync my calendar, Notes and Tasks still, but Contacts gives the following error: "The synchronization failed due to the following error: Unable to write or update application data." after reading through Lotus Notes and Axim data and attempting to sync them.
I have deleted all records from Contacts (Pumatech forums seemed to indicate that a corrupted record might be causing the problem) with no success. I read somewhere that I should delete the Contacts database (needs extra software), but this makes me a little nervous (will it be recreated properly?).
Worst case, I suppose I could continue to sync my contacts only with my home PC (little inconvenient, of course), but I would love them to stay in sync.
Does anyone have any ideas? I have obviously tried soft-resets and upgrading to the latest version of Active Sync. I'm not sure where to go next...
