Mad activesync 3.7

I have downloaded and installed sync 3.7, now I cannot sync at all.

It connects then disconnects. So what is the problem.
How do I fix it?????

Likewise the upgrade to A03 has caused me to reboot the handheld at least two to three times each day.

Even when following instructions for installation, what to do???

From what I've found in the past...if it will sync and disconnect...then you might try chaning your settings in Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager....depending on which Window version you are using.

Either way you need to find the device manager. Select the USB Root Hub and go to power management. Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

I have this option in Window XP and this corrected my problem of continual disconnects. Now my sync works fine every time, all the time and never disconnects.

Hope this helps!

I have battery bar v5 and with ActiveSync 3.7 and 3.6 I got the connect/disconnect cycle. When I removed battery bar the problem went away. I am not 100% sure this is the problem, but I am having other issues with v5, so it is my chief suspect at the moment.

Any power saving program can cause this to happen. The most common one is a setting in the pc's operating system.

I had this problem with 3 of my Axims... I had to perform a Hard Reset on each of them to get it to work. It only happened on Win2k not XP.

Just so you know, there is no option in Win2k for this.
