Use remote, comes with Windows XP Pro, from laptop to desktop.
Works well.
Haven't tried PDA to desktop but, if XP works as well as it does,
I might expect, PDA via MS might work as well.

If you have remote enabled, you can use Terminal Services client (under Programs on your device). Another option is VNC.

Out of all of the options, logmein would be the easiest to set up.

I don't use Terminal services so I can't help you there. Logmein will show your screen accurately but will require a lot of scrolling.
