SCUBA Dive logging & planning

Does anyone have any good programs for Dive logging & planning
for SCUBA diving? I've been looking but all I have found seem a bit flaky.

Do you want to input your data manually? The only one I've seen for that so far is Blackwave http://www.blackwave.com/products/Di...tPC/index.aspx it interfaces with a desktop version and depending on what dive computer and software you have it may be a pain just to get the 2 logs in sync.

The other route to take if money is not a concern (it may cost you) Uwatec's Smart line has infared that will dump it's contents into a ppc via its traveltrack software (free) wirelessly that also syncs with there Smart track pc software. The only drawback there is you have to buy a uwatec dive comp

Well, don't know? Newbie at scuba but, I do have prescription
goggles! Imagine prescription lens goggles! Great stuff from
the Florida Keys!

Enjoy the water!

In the USMC I had prescription lenses for my gas mask, I don't
care for contacts, hear they aren't any good for scuba anyway.
Then, in a dive shop, found these great prescription goggles! :)

That sucks cause I really like my SUUNTO dive computer. I guess I'll have to go the manual route for now.

As far as planning goes you could get some pdf's of tables. I would like to think that someone has an excel sheet somewhere that does the calculations for you.

Yeah, I looked around a while ago as well and found most of the stuff out there was limited. In the end, I figured I'd just code something myself... yeah, that was a year ago :) So much for that plan :)

I still have that dream to write the app, it seem like if it was written in .net, it would be trivial to get it working on both the handheld and the desktop...

Hmmm.. might have to move this project forward on the queue :)

Let us know though if you find something you're happy with!

Cheers,
Chris

It will probabaly be a while before I get a dive log program. I'm moving to Greenland for a year in March and I dont foresee my self doing any diving while I'm up there.
