I am using the trial version of Facelift to see if I like it, however I have noticed a problem and was wondering if any one else had seen the same thing.
Some of the Today items, namely the battery meter and the icon section, seem to lose their background after a period of time (around 30 minutes or so). I have no other software installed that should be affecting the today screen and I have tried it with different backgrounds but it still happens.
Actually, as I am typing, I look down to see if I can still select the battery meter and the entire screen seems to be affected this way now.
Anyone seen this?

That is the limitation of the trial version. At least it is if this version is the same as the one I used on my Casio EM-500. You can only use it for a little bit, then it fades out and stops working.
You can go to start/settings/system/facelift/ hit the OK button and Facelift will start working again, for a while. It's better to go ahead and buy, which is what I'm going to do plus the Journal Bar. Both are great
Yea like the guys above mentioned after 30 minutes it grays that stuff out. I always rotated my themes and when you did that it resets the clock anyways. Although I have no life so that might not work for you. :)

You think they might mention something about that in the readme or as a limitation of the program. Very easy to get the impression the full version works the same way.

It actually says that the trial does that on their website. I've told them it should be more pronounced so people expect it but they havent done anything yet.
Facelift is the first and best app I ever bought for my Pocket PC's.

I really apologize for my laziness, see below:
From Pocket Facelift FAQ's
1. Screen is showing hatched pattern after some time
This is not a bug, this is just a limitation of the trial version (appears after ap. 30 min.). The full version will always show the theme. You can restart facelift to show the background again. time
I should've looked a little harder first...

How do you create custom button sets? ( .btn)
Have the basics figured out. As for the buttons, i'm clueless.:crooked:
I haven't done it myself, but I remember some one saying to download a button set from Novosec's website, rename it to a .zip file, open it, and then change the buttons using a paint program. But I am not sure if I remember correctly. Here is a link to Novosec's website. Maybe you can get a better, more knowledgable answer there.
