I use it with Wisbar Advance Desktop. Pressing my center button on the D-pad minimizes and maximizes PocketBreeze. When it is in minimized mode, all of my app shortcuts become visible and I can open programs I want to get into. This helps keep the number of virtual today pages I have to a minimum.
Moe, thanks. I use WAD, too. Why do you consider it necessary to minimize the number of virtual desktops? I use six, and have the Home hard button set up to pop up a menu in which I can choose the desktop I want to see. Switching is fast, too. Memory usage appears to depend on the number and size of icons/images loaded but not the number of desktops.

No reason other than I like to have everything on one page when possible. I also use a couple of docks to access other things. But they are still launched from that one page.

I do keep all of my other today plugins under tabs in PocketBreeze which I set to take up the entire height of the screen. One press of the center button and PB minimizes so that I can launch apps and docks that have other shortcuts in them like documents and folders and system controls. It almost makes WAD act like another tab in PocketBreeze. I could use iLauncher which is a great program but I like the additional cutomization features of WAD a little more.

I see. My usage pattern is "one screen per purpose" and does not involve docks. I guess I'm using screens like tabs. It is natural to me because I have always used virtual window managers on Unix workstations and later Windows PCs. (Anyone who wants free virtual desktops without computational or memory overhead should check out Johan Piculell's VirtuaWin.)

WAD is an amazingly flexible piece of software which supports the many different ways in which people want to use it.

Okay. With plugins, the Tasks & Calendar listings were outgrowing the length of the display. All I was seeing was Tasks and Calendar, with Date & Owner Info at the top. I had a utility package at the bottom, and I had to scroll down to access it, and to see battery time remaining, program & storage memories, BIS, etc. It was becoming apparent when I was getting busy I had to scroll down to access what I was used to on a daily basis.

Then I decided it was time to get uncluttered! I tried out some of the competition, and there was always a conflict or a bunch of things needed to get it working, and I just put my foot down and said, "I want what is easier for me, not the developer!"

I went SPB. Clean, organized, functional, cutomizable, user friendly, and best of all, fluent with the way I do things.

Now my Today display is set to a certain growth window. So i don't have to scroll up and down to find what I want.

I have the date, owner info, a bar that tells me of incoming messages. Then the SPB Diary is next, shows me appointments, tasks, how many appointments for that day, how long I have to them, the expected weather for that day, whether it reoccurring again, if an alarm is set, the time frame of the appointment/task, and what's coming up next. I have to scroll in its window to see the week ahead. Also, I can specifiy from the today screen what information I want displyaed for how many days, or just today. And a sort function.
Then there is the Task only tab, followed by Contacts, then followed again by Notes.
Notes displays a mini-window of the notes taken, much faster then the old way. I can edit by double tapping. This is slick!
I hear that SPB is going to add a couple other tabs too, which would fit right in.
And I can have all the infor displayed in the window/plug-in size that I want!

On the bottom I have the SPB Pocket Plus. I use the ToPlay & Folders tabs.
Left most tab is the Main. - This shows my memory, storage card, BIS storage and free memory avilable. I can adjust the brightness too. I also have the main shortcuts to programs I use the most often.
Next tab I have is System. - Here I have PHM's utilities, my Full Screen Keyboard, MemMaid Quick, Pocket Mechanic, Backup, and assorted utilities.
Next tab is the Weather. I have it showing a 4 Day forcast, with additional cities hidden unless tapped. I have three different city forcasts here. (I heard SPB working on a current conditions option too, which they don't have currently.)
Next tab is the free plugin, Folders. I have it set to show Pocket Word Documents I want, in a folder I selected. Some are related to employment/training history, a simple Shopping List, a Music To Buy list (Trying to find Aereda's "Sacris Solemniis", and I couldn't remember the name if I did find a music store), wifi MAC addresses for home network, and WiFi Hotspots I found in the area I frequent.
The next tab over is the free plugin, ToPlay. - You can change the skins to use, and it automatically plays music you have stored, in no certain order. A mini-Media Player applet. But, I also put shortcuts here to the games I have installed, the photo viewers, photo slide show programs, microphone, MSN Messenger, that free ruler/protractor application, and X50Mix.
Last folder I have is SPB's Finance. - A quick view of my current checking and savings information, so I can know i I can use my debit card when I don't have my check book with me, and enter the data for that so I don't forget! I can access Finance from here too.

That's a lot of information available to me just from the Today page! And no lag or delays when loading this stuff up either. And no matter whow many tasks or appoinments I have, the display stays a constant size, no variances!

Note: You can add/remove any program, folder, file from each of the Pocket Plus tabs individually!

Here's a screen shot I took earlier in the month. I edited out my name & phone number.

Then there's the PIE open in new window feature, the new Close buton closes stuff, close button also has a customizable menu with options. I have the usual minimize, close, close all, Today, screen rotations. Saves not having to lose Magic Button, which I used before Pocket Plus.

Everything I need is just a tap or two away, No lagging, no large icons/GUI, works perty slick!

I work in QVGA on a X50v. For me it works, and it works for me. (Not against me like some others.)

Now to get SPB to make a new plugin: Locate Available Single Women!
