We've just bought 35 'barebone' Axim X50v's and I'm currently in the process of buying all the necessary bits and pieces to make them functional:-

Batteries
Battery Covers
3in1 travel charge/sync kits
WM5 Upgrades
Stylus's
CF/SD Slot blanks/protectors
Cases

I thought the list was complete but then wondered "How the hell are these going to sync contacts/appointments etc?"

I dont suppose the WM5 upgrade CD's include a copy of Outlook?
Failing that, is there a third party (cheaper) solution to synchronise PIM data to the host PCs?

Never used it but you can check out Intellisync. Looks like it will sync with other programs then outlook. Just an idea. But my real concern would be 35 Axim with WM5 upgrades on them. Ouch! Hopefully everything works out for you. Good Luck~

The Original CD that comes with the Axims has Outlok on it. At least the one that came with my X51v

I'll check out intellisync thanks FlyACL. As these were 'barebone' without even battery covers and stylus's (styli?) they didn't come with any software. Some were even in the wrong language.......but they were cheap.
