Netfront 3.3 Beta Technical Preview expired

Since installing the NF3.3 beta a little over a month ago, I have become hooked on its VGA goodness. However I was dismayed to fire it up last night and be greeted with a message saying:

"The trial period has been expired. Thankyou for trying NetFront v3.3 for Pocket PC"

Upon dismissing this message, NF closes. I didn't think the beta was time-limited beyond not being valid after Dec 31 2005 (according to the T&Cs on the download), so I'm wondering whether something funky is going on.

I did have a NF3.2 trial installed when I installed 3.3, and I subsequently uninstalled this while tidying up some time ago. Could it be that some remnant of 3.2 is messing with 3.3? I'd thought the two were supposed to be independent of each other. Anyway, is there any way I can get 3.3 working again without uninstalling it?

I would uninstall and download the new preview edition. I thought the beta was set to expire on Nov 15 when they first released the beta version.It sounds like they extended the beta period.

BTW, I have 3.2 installed on my axim 50v. Would you recommend usingthe beta 3.3? What has been your experience with the beta?

Thanks, that was it - I hadn't realised I was using an older version of the preview than is currently available for download.

The only thing that attracted me to 3.3 is its full VGA support, in that it can display sites in VGA correctly on 2003SE without having to use SE_VGA et al. Now I've been using it for a while I've grown to like its other features too, although I gather they're all more or less present in 3.2. I'd recommend trying 3.3 for the VGA, unless you already have your own solution for VGA browsing.

I wonder when they'll have 3.3 ready for sale? I'll be annoyed if there's a gap between the preview and release.

It will be very nice when the bookmarks number more than 10 !! Until it's out of beta I guess we'll have to live with that. As long as you don't mind typing in an entire address one time, it isn't too bad.
