Program similar to SBP Pocket 3.0 out there?
Running an Axim X51v high end. Downloaded @ Pocketgear.com, the Sbp Pocket 3.0. Won't install. They don't respond. While I work on the denial of my crdit charge, is there a program out ther that anyone KNOWS will install and run on the X51v? I really need an expense (simple) program, but the pocket 3.0 looked awesome...but ain't for my machine. Input? Anything anyone KNOWS that works? Pocketgear's customer service reeks, by the way...I'll avoid them henceforth.

Are you trying to contact Sbp or Pocketgear? I have had a couple of questions for Sbp and, although it seems to take a couple of days for a response, they have responded to all inquiries.

Yes, there are many programs that will install and run on the X51V and under WM5.
This thread may help.

I downloaded ExpensePlus, it looks very nice, and appears to have nearly every feature I need. IMHO it's the best expense software that I've seen.

Go to http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/?en and download it directly from their website. Pocketgear sometimes has old versions listed on their site. You can still use your code that you got from pocketgear.
As for your support question. Who is not responding? Did you contact SPB directly or are you dealing with pocketgear? I contacted SPB about an issue with SPB Weather (no WM5 support) and they got back to me within a day and got me a new release that works with WM5. I have been so pleased with their products and support that I now own 4 of their programs for my x51v (Pocket Plus, Diary, Weather, Full Screen Keyboard).

I cannot see any software developer making a stable & reliable program when Microsoft Windows Mobile 5 is not even a stable Operating System. The OS is under constant changes, most likely for some time to come.
Microsoft released the new OS based on a Release Date rather then when the OS was stable. Where the OS is under so many changes, many PDA users are going to have assorted issues.
Congratulations for paying to beta!

What version of SPB Weather works with WM5, Ihave the latest version you can download from their web site and it doesn't update the weather once its installed and done the initial download.
