It appears that (as shown in my edit to my previous post) I load MB at startup and iL later. Do you agree this is a correct analysis? I am unclear as to why iL is not loaded.

I agree that the PI load was unrelated, but was annoying nevertheless. Appears that was corrected by the removal of the shortcut from the \Windows\Startup\ directory.

hmmmm I don't think the order of shortcuts at \Windows\Startup\ is necessarily the order of load.. hmm

No, I believe that items in STARTUP are loaded asynchronously.

However, I do have MagicButton there and nowhere do I have iLauncher...Where do others have it auto loaded?

I also removed the SplashV item from STARTUP as it seems unnecessary.

In any case, I auto load MB, have to manually initialize iL (after a soft reset), and have no power bar nor system tray icons until iL has been initialized (as one would logically expect). And, yes, if I set the power bar to none, it does take a soft reset to get it back.

I figured out a way around this that I am trying out that seems to work so far. In Pocket Breeze, under the settings for Tab Control, for the iLauncher tab, I set the Loading Method to STATIC.

Now all three (Power meter bar, iLauncher tabs, iLauncher system tray icons) are there after a soft reset!

And it still works after the planned reset that occurs just after 5AM every day after the scheduled Sprite Backup, so I'm calling this good to go for my purposes and keeping it set this way.
