I'm new to these forums and I've been doing a lot of readings in each of the different sections and threads. Although I found many of the answers to my questions there are some things that are still making me go crazy.
One of the biggest annoyances that I have is the fact that wisbar advance 2 will not change the wallpaper when I choose to use a certain theme. For example, If I copy the chromium theme by juni onto my Axim x51v and then choose to set it as the current theme in the "Today" settings as well as the Wisbar settings, the top and bottom status bars and icons all change correctly but the main wallpaper area of the today screen as well as the fonts, colours and section markers in that area stick to the default windows theme (annoying blue). I've tried all of the workarounds listed on this site from tweak2k2 to setsecurity.exe. I would really appreciate some help with my problem and any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and Aximsite Rules!!
put the *.tsk file in "My Documents"
then go to control panel > Today
select the one you want

Yup, I did exactly that the first time I installed the program and I've been doing that with all of the themes that I've downloaded. The two I've been trying to get working are the Chromium theme and the Expea2 VGA theme. The .tsk file is in the root of "My Documents" on the PDA and the Wisbar files for each respective theme is in the "theme" folder in the Wisbar application folder on My SD Card (SD card\Prgram Files\Wisbar Advance\Themes\Chromium_WA) for example. Hope thats a little more clear.
Or, this problem only apply to one particular theme? You can use WinRar and try to extract the Tdywater or something from the *.tsk file and see if the graphics are not corrupted...

many of the TSK files aren't read right by WM5. there is a workaround for it... I had to do it to Expea2, but I've forgotten since I downgraded to 2003se
Something like copying it and renaming it to *.CAB

Which files do I rename? I tried it with the files in the My Documents Folder and it just makes Wisbar stop responding, thus requiring a soft reset.
