OK tried it on an x51v and it works just fine!

Hmm maybe it is just be but right now there is one reason for me not to use it over your older version, which is that I have installed your old switcher into basically a 'quick launcher' .. with one click I can toggle bluetooth. Your new version is a 2-click affair.. not necessarily a bad thing though.

But.

Launching bluetooth with me is always paired to another activity, which is 'going online'. Now what would increase usefulness even more would be if it would allow me to

1/ start bluetooth
2/ go online (should be pretty easy I think..)

and then

3/ stop bluetooth

The net result would be that I could go turn on bluetooth pretty quickly and 'start doing what I want'. If you really want to go for flexibility you could even consider allowing users to select one or two bluetooth apps he/she might want to use right after starting BT. (the audio player, paired with his headset) (dialup, for me and plenty of others), etc

I'm not sure I understand you. It means that BT will be switched on after x minutes? It looks like you could just keep BT on and not use this utility. Or did I miss something?
Sorry, just to make it a bit clearer on my part: The XDA Execs have a bug where Bluetooth seemingly switches itself off for no apparent reason. Having an icon in the System tray such as BTSwitch makes it easier to quickly switch it back on again, but if it could have a setting that polled the BT settings and automagically did it, it would overcome this bug..

It's a bit of wishful thinking on my part that this functionality could be added.. :)

I'd like to point out some alternative simple ways to map a shortcut to this program (version-1):

1-a hardware button
2-use one of the softkey (Registry change or Tweaks2k2 or in a Today theme .tsk)
3-if you have Wisbar Advance, program it to an existing button (don't forget WA offers double usage per button (tap & hold) and WA also offers custom button on the topbar.

The problem is that it is getting exceedingly difficult to make anything more than turn on/off because I do not have access to an appropriate device/resources to test against. The emulators aren't really helpful in this respect.

I'll give this a thought.
