Minor Annoyance Caused by Handango

OK. To set this up, I need to do a little explanation:

I go by my middle name. Don't know why, just do (most people in my hometown do).

However, when I fill out forms and things, and it asks for my first name, well I put in my first name like a good little camper. :approve:

Now to the annoyance...

I bought and downloaded Age of Empires from Handango. I'm a big addict on the pc, so I figured I'd put it on the PPC for when I take business trips (something to do on the plane).

However, when you download from Handango, it asks you for your personal information (name, etc) which it will later compare with PPC owner information, to ensure against piracy I assume. If no matchy...no worky.

So...I put in my first name as it requested. Well, guess what! The game didn't work.

I finally realized it was because it didn't match the owner information on the PPC. So now to keep the game playable, I have to put in my first name in my owner information, which now displays my first and last name, right there on my startup screen.

Question: is there any way to edit the game registry (or whatever), so I can change my owner information?

It's a minor annoyance, I know, but it drives me crazy (this is a personal issue with me).

Thanks.

Where you enter your owner information you can check off if you want it to display on your today screen. It won't change your name, but you won't have to look at it all the time.

That happened to me. Tried to register my new game and wouldn't work because of different name; rather than changing my device name, I emailed the vendor and they changed my name and sent me a new registration code #. That's one way.
