Agreed. I have used numerous programs, love Spb Pocket Plus 3.0. I have also installed the Spb Weather add-on, that too works well, I like it.

To get a shot of your Today Screen, a free download, GetPDAScreen works real well (http://www.newmad.se/rnd-freesw.htm).

It was exactly the same for me: Pocket Plus together with WisBar Advance 2 turned my Axim from annoying to usable. When Spb Diary came out the Axim's state advanced to useful. It was when Notes management was added in Diary 1.5 that I began to like the PPC platform...

Today I am still using Diary and Weather but have retired Pocket Plus in favour of WisBar Advance Desktop.

Pocket Plus and Diary are two great programs that made my PPC easier to use. I really like the way Diary combines and shows my tasks and calendar items together on the today screen. It makes it very easy to see what's scheduled and due on each day. Plus gives me quick access to launching programs and buried system configuration menus.

P+ 3.0 is great! What initially drew me to it was the [alt]+[tab] functionality - it would allow me to switch between programs without having to pull out my stylus, if I didn't want it.

Since then, I've discovered PocketBreeze, Pocket Informant, Contact Breeze, and things have just gotten better. The only bad thing that's happened since then was my transient upgrade to WM5.

Yea. I like it too. But i oso heard that it drains more power... Is this true? Coz i experiance kinda short battery life between charges. Pocket+ battery meter never gives shows me a battery life more than 4 hours even after a full charge. Im also using the second brightest screen backlight. Any ideas?

Reduce the backlight to the second lowest setting. Check that the CPU power management is set to Auto.

When reading eBooks (low CPU load) I get 4:15 hours to 4:30 hours on the third backlight brightness notch (50%). At the lowest brightness - which is still plenty bright for eBooks - I get 5:30. For PDA use I prefer the second brightness notch, though.

Edit: times are for 1100mAh standard battery discharged down to the first battery warning i.e. around 19%.

Tankman,

Where'd you get your Today background? That's a great poster/picture.
