I highly suggest both. I use both and absolutely love em. Very useful indeed.

I use Pocket Plus, Diary, and Pocket Weather (cause SPB's Weather doesn't have current conditions). Everything that I need access to is right there, easily accessible, less clutter, no large icons, and no learning curve needed to use. And I can see the Today wallpaper too.

Seen some screen shots where Pocket Breeze used vertical icons and then inner windows, cluttering the real estate up. I was tempted to try Pocket Breeze, but there were things I did not like about it.

Pocket Plus has tabs you can make, delete, change places, and is horizontal. Changing tabs is easy, fast. But there's more to Pocket Plus then the Today page. I really enjoy having multiple PIE instances, and closing the one out and swapping around to various pages. The File Explorer extensions and the Folder Up is great too. Also using the two free Plug Ins; ToPlay (tab hold my games, graphics, video clips, graphical programs, instant messaging, etc), and Today Folder (showing my important Word documents, including a shopping list).

Pocket Plus is feature rich for me, and loads clean. I used to use Magic Button, but don’t any more. Pocket Plus takes care of that, and had rotation option that eliminated yet another application I used for that too.)

Probably all depends upon what you like feature wise. I am sure both are great products. I have not seen an unbiased comparison done on them however.

Pocket Plus gets 5 frog kisses!

I have been using PocketBreeze for about a month now. I've never used Pocket Plus. Before buying PocketBreeze, I compared it to Pocket Plus with the Diary plug-in. I decided to go with PocketBreeze. Why? Just go over to SBSH's forums and you will see why. It is amazing that the developers are so involved with their customers. Have a problem using their software? They'll help you resolve it. You wish the software would do something differently? They'll discuss it with you, and if there's enough interest, they'll incorporate it into a future release. All this correspondence goes on within hours, not days.

Also, it was mentioned earlier in this thread that PocketBreeze uses vertical icons or tabs. It does, but it also defaults to horizontal tabs. That is the beauty of PocketBreeze. You have many, many options under its settings menu, and you can configure it many, many different ways. And again, if you want another option, post a thread on their forums. There's a good chance you can get it implemented in a future release.

While Pocket Plus and Pocket Breeze are two totally different programs, SPB's new Diary plug-in makes them more comparable. But for me, PocketBreeze is the answer. For other products, support is the question. :approve:

Sweet. Thanks for all the help. The best thing to do is download the trials and see what works best.

I agree fully with dannyw001!

Support is outstanding. I was running the trials of Pocket Breeze and Pocket Weather and became hopelessly addicted to both when the trial periods ran out. The morning they expired I was preparing to leave town for about a week, I logged on, purchased them and was told it would be 48 hours before I got the reg codes. I pm'd Amit and asked him if he could expedite and within 6 hours he had supptlied them.
Very impressive in this world of sub-standard customer service.

Well, I started to write a comparison of the two, and couldn't complete as both programs are similar in ways, and different in others. And without having SBSH's software to try first hand, wouldn't been a fair review on my part.

PocketPlus adds features to PIE and File Explorer too. Even if one bought all of SBSH's software, PIE & FE enchancements would be left out.

There's a lot more to Pocket Plus then you will see at first.

One of the pet peaves about Pocket Breeze is that top bar that all skins seem to have, about 3/8" taken up just for the buttons.

Was tempted to try it out, but I use multiple windows in PIE and the FE additions just make it hard to pass up. One would have to get Resco Explorer, then still be SOL on the PIE stuff.

That, and I'm beta testing SPB's software. Maybe the Axim@Site staff can do a fair review, though I would suggest they wait until the next updates of the programs.

Think of Pocket Plus as Pocket Breeze + iLauncher Together. With pocket breeze offering alittle more function on the today screen.

Pocket Plus has a 50% off discount: PLUSXMAS42

And email Amit http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showt...ghlight=pocket for 50% off Pocket Breeze.
