My Nikon N90 came with a data cable and a Sharp organizer type device that would allow you to control camera settings and some other tricky stuff. I received the package used and the battery in the Sharp is dead and there was no AC power supply.

There is PC software for the Nikon that works with a serial cable. The cable and the software cost over $200 as a package. I don't need it that bad.

Searching around I noticed that someone has software and a cable that works with the Palm OS. Wonder if there is such an animal that would or could be made to work with the Axim????

If you know of anything like that, please point me in the right direction.

As a fellow photo nut, there is not enough good Photo software out there for PPC compared to the Palm.

There are some great camera programs out there for Windows. Is there someone that could port a Windows version over to the Axim? I am buying an Axim specifically to be able to control a camera with it. I am hoping I could find someone to port the program over. I have access to the "C" source for the software. I will also want the software enhanced for my use.

There are a LOT of programs out there to control a camera for taking astronomy and other time lapse purposes. I found a program for the iPqaq:

I would love to get some help making this work. I have ordered the serial cable for the camera and I am getting the serial cable for the Axim, I just need to get the software ported.
