does it really hard-reset that often? i realize that the one time it does i'll be saying how sorry i was for not getting it, but i have everything on my pda backed-up on my computer.
if it was $15 i'd definetely get it, for $30 it seems a bit rich imo...

I've had several hard resets that I never expected. One or two because the battery died, another because I could never get past the load screen. I just prefer to know that if something happens, I don't have to worry about it.
I have A LOT of software installed that I don't want to have to take the time to reinstall if anything happens. And I also like the fact that I if I am away from home and have a hard reset, all have to do is run the executable backup.

Sprite will also create an executable file and you can set it to monitor your battery so that it automatically backs up when the battery gets to a certain %. Wish i had known that before i accidently drained my ax. i still had a recent back-up so all was fine.
what makes this different than sprite. i have found nothing better than sprite!
I believe the point of this thread is not how Sunnysoft backup is better than Sprite, but rather that it exists as an alternative to Sprite for WM5 users. Sprite is not yet compatible with WM5.
just got Sprite all loaded up, did a full backup of my PDA, then hard reset my PDA to test it works, didn't work as I though first off, but then i found the "self extracting" backup tick box!!! What a great bit of software, thanks for all the advice!
