Hi All,

I have an X50v. I just purchased WiFi Companion for WM5.0 from socketcom. The install worked fine and initially the WFC Splash screen showed my wireless network at home, etc.

Then I noticed that even though I could get to anything I needed to on the web, that the WFC Splash no longer showed any connection. When I first turn on WiFi within the 50v the tower icon at the top of the screen comes on momentarily then goes off.

I still have the green bars at the bottom right indicating strong signal strength and again, can get anywhere I want on the internet. But still no indication of connectivity on the WFC Splash screen.

Then I looked at the connections panel on my Desktop WiFi Defense application and notice that the 50v shows as not connected, again even though I can travel the net freely.

Any thoughts you might have would be greatly appreciated.
