Lotus Notes Issue

Well the axim rocks but I have an issue with Intellisync.

Well 2 actually.

1.I have hard reset my Axim x51v.
2. Installed Active Sync 4.0
3. Installed Intellisync 5.5

Synced all my Lotus Notes Email, Calendar, Tasks successfully.

However.

When I do another sync - even if it is 3 minutes later, nothing changes except Intellisync wants to add all my recurring allday events (Birthdays, Anniversaries etc) Everything else remains unchanged. If I do it again I end up with 3 copies of each event and so on.

How do I stop this from happening, it's really irritating and once I add new events it will be harder to monitor what needs to go on.

Secondly, when I type an email on the Axim and send it, it stays in the outbox. Even if I sync with intellisync it stays there.

New emails from the Lotus PC appear and mark as read or unread as applicable but I cannot type an email out of the office and send it when I get in and sync.

Any thoughts?

I tried Intellisync and had a lot of problems. I use mNotes form Commontime now. This is truly the best software for interfacing to Lotus Notes. I wrote a review a while back. If you look through the reviews you should be able to find it. I called IBM and they gave me a refund on Intellisync. You may want to stay with Intellisync but we had so many problems I convinced my company (26k people) to switch to it and they have been very happy with it's performance.

I would agree with this completely. Intellisync never worked out for or our staff with PPC's. We ended up with mNotes from commontime. Great Product.

I'm pretty sure my wife's company uses something called Pylon to sync their Notes info with their Axims. I could be totally off-base though since it's second-hand info.

Me 3rd. When we had Notes, mNotes was the run-away winner.

WOW, mnotes is really good - thanks. 2 mins to install and now I can write and send mail from the axim perfectly.
