Question Remote Desktop connection - Teminal Services Client

I would like to access one of my servers via Terminal Services client. But, the problem is my Windows 2000 Terminal Server is listening on a different port than the default one for security reasons. From Remote Desktop Client I connect to the server with the following syntax:

http://xx.xx.xx.xx:yyyy - where yyyy is the port where rdp on the server is listening to.

My question is, has anyone used the PPC's Terminal Services Client to connect to the Windows 2000 Terminal Server listening on a different port? If yes, please write how.

TIA

don't use htp://xx.xx.xx.xx:xxxx

just the ip followed by the port number

xx.xx.xx.xx:xxxx

good luck

Worried Remote Desktop port number?

What is the port number for Remote Desktop? I'm used to passing an invite file. Attempted to run the invite file on my Ax with no luck. Please help...

You will need TCP port 3389 open on your router to use Terminal Services.

Hmm

I also need to use a non-default port. Entering just the IP address followed by a colon and the port does NOT work. The Axim immediately replies with "The server name specified is invalid."

Any further ideas on using a non-default TS port from the PPC version of the TS client software?
