In attempting to sync a few tables from an Access database, and not finding it listed as one of the syncable items, I looked in the help file for ActiveSync:

"Note Synchronizing and converting Access database files is available only on devices running Windows Mobile software for Pocket PC 2003 and earlier."

One of the three top reasons for buying the X51v was that I would have more memory and more horsepower to work with the data from my data sources. Now I find that MickeySoft didn't even include the ability to sync databases with WM5!!!

I am *soooo* disappointed.

Does anyonehave any information on this.

Hmm ... I'd like to say I'm surprised but I'm not. M$ is trying to move people away from Access and onto SQL Server.

I like both SQL Server and Access - but for applications that are not "Enterprise Level" Acess is a really nice database. We're all SQL at my workplace but for my own side projects I'm sticking with the relative simplicity of Access.

If WM5 doesn't support Access (Jet) then I may be using my last version of Windows Mobile for awhile.
