What is the best picture viewer out there?

Is there anything out there that's better than SplashPhoto and Resco Picture Viewer? I just need something that will automatically shrink my pictures to 640x480 and allow me to view them on my Axim. It would be great if it had slideshow capability. Don't need to be able to edit or touch up or anything like that. I'm using splashphoto right now but for some reason it doesn't allow me to put my pics on the SD card; I don't want to waste main memory.

For those who have used both products, between splashphoto and resco, which one is better and why?

As always, thanks.

The newest version of Resco Picture Viewer comes with a Desktop client for your PC that will automatically resize pictures to any size you select (including VGA) and transfer them anywhere on your device. It also has slideshow capabilities. I use it for viewing my digital camera pictures on my PPC and it works great! Resco Picture Viewer comes free with all Axims, I think (at least it did with my X5 & X51v).

I have both. I really prefer Resco Photo Viewer.

Reasons I prefer Resco (in no particular order):
1) Slide show works better and has transitions.(nice touch)
2) Better (and easier) editing. You can open an image and can that select crop, rotate, add text, etc.
3) Loads faster. I take my camera card and put it in my device. With SplashPhoto, it took a while to load up all the images. With Resco Photo Viewer, I can scroll around while the images load and it seems to go faster.
4) Change between views easily.
5) Sort lists easily.
6) Change order of pictures to be displayed in slide show.

Oh yeah. Forgot about the desktop utility. There's another reason!

Xnview pocket also has a viewer function. it makes slide shows and also converts to different file types. oh, and it's free as well.

I have both and prefer SplashPhoto. I have quite a few 5M-7M jpgs on my 2GB CF card. SplashPhoto opens them and sizes them to fit the screen automatically. Seems faster than Resco to me, too.

I do not use ActiveSync to move files of this size; I use a USB card reader.

I have several Adobe PhotoShop products on my PC, so have no need to edit on my PDA.

Do you or anyone else who uses this program find it slower than normal (say Resco Viewer)

Yes, Xnview is a bit slower and not as pretty but it DOES support one format that Resco does not, TGA files.

That alone makes it worth it to me to keep it installed.
