Question Help How Do I Create A Partnership Between PC and Axim

I am having problems I have been working on this for a couple of months now. I have an Axim x50v. I was having problems getting my PC to recognize my Axim. Now I got it to recognize it but it does not appear to be syncing. Can someone please tell me how to go about creating a partnership between PC and Axim, I know I had the option to set up partnership once I completed the upgrade and I thought I did but for some reason it is showing no partnership. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Go to Start > Settings > System Tab > About > Device ID Tab

Then change the Device Name field to something other than what it is (while off of the cradle...probably doesn't matter if it is on, but you will have to remove it at some point). Now when you try to sync it will ask you to either make a new partnership or a guest partnership. Choose to make a new partnership and you should be able to sync like a charm.

If something is still going wrong, post back and we will see what we can do. Hope this helps.

Wrong forum

If you post this thread on Aximsite's ActiveSync forum you should get plenty of help. You might wish to read the index to see if there is a solution posted already. I suggest you include what your setup is including versions of WM and AS. Some of the solutions will be dependent upon what UR using.
