I sent them an email asking when textmaker beta would be out for ppc. They said it will be out after new years! Can't wait! :)

Sorry I got all excited I didn't read the full email. Damn, guess I'll have to wait till next year.

SoftMaker has been saying that for the past two years. They have a very loose concept of time. The product is great however. New version has unicode support, will import Open Office documents, and will have editing features similar to Word. They have improved how table feature works (more flexability). The database feature is supposed to be improved. Still no macros. Still no split screen feature for working on two documents at once.
