Remove "Desktop" label from MagicButton?

Thanks to the wonderful advice given here, I am now a MagicButton user (and will be until most of these changes get rolled into WM OS, if ever).

The ONLY thing I do not like is that when there are no tasks running, the MB icon and a greyed-out "Desktop" are inserted into the taskbar area. I would MUCH prefer a neat, blank space instead. Is there any way to configure this portion of the program?

I actually leave ActiveSync running just so I don't have to see that pop up.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I'm also interested in this... Maybe in a new version there could be an option to turn this off?

Tap in the upper right hand corner.

Just tap and hold the corner of the screen where the X normally is and the Magic Button desktop disappears. Alternately, you can set it to default to the desktop not showing, unless you tap and hold the X area, which will turn it on. It would be nice if the desktop would automatically disappear if there were no active apps.

Yep, that's what I was hoping for. Unfortunately, it looks like I have to close MB for that to happen. Maybe next time ...

When I tap on the upper right to 'close' the MB desktop, then open other apps, then tap on the upper right to 'reopen' MB, the running apps are listed there. So, while I agree that the word 'Desktop' is unneccessary clutter, so is the ugly little splat icon of MB itself (There's already the little house icon that I can tap and hold on, don't need nor want two!). I choose to make it all go away (visually) unless I'm actively using the MB program.

In any case, still a very nice task manager/switcher program. And the price certainly cannot be beat!

You can link it to a hardware button to toggel the desk top on and off.
