Magic Button Magic!!!!!!!

:) Hi Gang,
I just wanted to SHOUT OUT!! ABOUT MAGIC BUTTON! :approve: :approve: This is a really great little program that stop you having to do soft resets all the time
I Had trouble with my Navteq software locking up my machine all the time and I got to the point of almost stamping on the Damm Thing.
Then a kind gent from this site told me to install magic button from Google search and my problems vanished my little Dell is now my best friend. Its suprising just how many programs still run even when you think you have switched them off.
If you havent got this great application GO GET IT!! :approve: :approve:
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I used to use Wisbar Advance 2 until I got my X51v. WA2 runs too slow on WM5, so I found Magic Button and I am very happy with it! :)

Love the program

BUT...

if you try to get into your WiFi settings to modify something or select a network to join, you can't get out and it pretty much locks the top bar of your PDA. Can't select anything but the Windows icon to get back to your Today screen. Then you can't close programs.

Still incredibly useful esp with the battery function.

Going from an X5 Basic to an X30 High, I've always been looking for a good TM. I started out with WisBar. I tried Gigabar and ICBar, they just didn't take it. vBar was a wonderful program, fast, and still is, I still have it on my X30. Wisbar Advance came out, and I used that on my x5. When I learned that WA1 wasn't compatible with my X30, and I found Magic Button. It is a wonderful program. I have bought WA2, but it slows down my X30, and all the graphics and imagry seems to take a tiny more battery than normal, so I have been back to Magic Button. I also have Pocket Plus, but Magic button can Coincide with that on the top bar, so I have Pocket Plus everything else, and Magic Button Closing...

I programmed a button to the 'OK' function and it works perfectly when that happens.

Good idea - hadn't thought of that. Which button did you program?

I used button 5 (down button on the side). I don't use most of my buttons so it wasn't a big deal to use one for me.
