pRSS Reader & Comic Feeds

Hello Everybody,

I was hoping someoned could help me with an RSS feed for comic strips. I have just started using pRSS Reader and am trying to add RSS feed for comic strips. I can't however, find a link that will be accepted by pRSS.

Does anyone have an RSS feed link that I could use to get the comic strips below? Or, know where I need to go to get them?

• B.C. by Johnny Hart
• Calvin & Hobbes by Bill Watterson
• Dilbert by Scott Adams
• Garfield by Jim Davis
• Peanuts by Charles Schulz
• Wizard of Id by Brant Parker

I'm also having trouble getting the RSS Feed for "The Onion". I entered the link from their website and pRSS says that it is an invalid format?

Thanks!!

Way back when there was a program that did comic strips for PDAs and Mazingo used to offer them as part of their many services.

Mazingo went out of business for lack of paying subscribers and the programs ddevelopment was killed by the comic syndicates. I'm pretty sure it's still around though.

Mazingo is, apparently, going to rise from the dead very shortly.

Also - this is a meta-site for comic RSS feeds

http://www.tapestrycomics.com/

These feeds don't seem to work with pRSSReader (http://pda.jasnapaka.com/prssr/) (well, they work but the pictures don't download - somewhat of a bummer for a comic!) or Newsmonger (http://www.marsen.com.sg/ppc/newsmonger/), but they DO work if copied/converted into Sunrise(http://www.mobileread.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=64) and then read with VadeMecum (http://vade-mecum.sourceforge.net/). Somewhat of a kluge, but you CAN get daily automated comics feeds to your Axim (I use MobSync http://www.interq.or.jp/punk/doino/home/software.htm to synchronize a VadeMecum/Plucker directory which is populated by Sunrise).

It does seem like a lot of work to read Snoopy.

Yeah - it's a lot of software. However, I use Sunrise/VadeMecum anyway (instead of AvantGo - which should also work) for a large number of sites and MobSync anyway to synchronize files from home and work.

Since it's already set up, adding a few more feeds in the "Comic" category really did not take more then 5 minutes, and it's automated after that.
