Today Plugin that Countsdown

Is there any today plugins out there that will let me put up a countdown, in days until a certain event. For example i could tell it to countdown till 12/25 and put text by it that says like ** Days till Xmas. Then every time i turn on my ppc or go to the today screen, i could see how many days are left till the event. Can u do this w/calender. Havent used it much.
