Here is a link to get you going with a complete HP48GX calculator, be sure to download the manuals (look lower in the thread).

The RPN entry method is weird at first, but once you start using it you really appreciate having an entry stack.

It's not free... but Spacetime is also quite a good Graphing Calculculator for PPC:

Yes, I recommend the HP48GX emulator. I still have my hardware GX, but the program on my Axim is much more convenient! Also, RPN is a superior method of calculating.

I am also experiencing this problem, I downloaded the ROM from TI's website, it is a .89u file, but when i open the emulator it asks for a .rom .bin .dmp or .tib
anyone know what im doing wrong?

The VTI on my Axim works great with TI-82, 83,83+, 85 and 86 but not 89.
I think the 89 ROM i got is not a good one.

You just need to put the rom in the same file as the emulator. That is it.

What I want is a PC Algebra program, where I can enter the problem, and it displays the steps to solve the equasion. More then just giving the answer.

The VTI skins I have found are very poor resolution and look horrible on my nice VGA screen. Are there any VGA TI skins for VTI?
