YEP there are quit a few but my personal favorite is Ti pocket emulator emulate the texax instument line of graphing calculators with the only gripe being u have to find the R0ms Yourself :approve:
Those are not roms but ways to "legaly extract the rom from your ti-XX.
Please do not post any links to "Illegal" rom pages but yes those would work if u have the correct eqipment :hide: :approve:
AND YEs most other ways of obtaining rom images for the TI's are illegal Quote from site "It is illegal to distribute them. The only way to legally obtain a ROM image is to download it from your calculator using the procedures below."
Interesting. Thanks for the post. I never knew this stuff was available as freeware. This will definitely work for me and I won't have to carry my TI-89 anymore!
Yah, Ill just buy someone's busted screen type @ school, then copy over the rom.....Save me $118....

I tried VTI and downloaded a ROM from TI's website. The program wouldn't see it, so gave up.
After a while, I just gave in and bought a TI-84+ Silver edition, for $129. The TI-84+ is $110, figured for the extra $19 it was worth having more memory and more applications.

Another option is to use the HP48/HP49 emulators and I believe that since HP no longer makes these it has given free use of its ROMS. Check out hpcalc.org
