need bluetooth messenger

hey i was wondering if any one knew of a good bluetooth messenger. thanx.

You can try Microsoft portrait. I haven't tried it yet but it looks like it should work. I think that some one on this site did a tutorial on it. Do a search and good luck. Post your results, I'm interested to see if it works. Good luck.

With Microsoft Portrait, one can set up a PAN (personal area network) using either BT or WiFi. Portrait not only supports chat, but also voice and video. Also, all three bandwidth options (text, audio, video) are supported by the PC and PPC unlike other Chat clients (ie AOL) that only support chat (i think). Research more and tell us what you find. Yes, MS Portrait is the best for P2P chatting over BT PAN. There's another app, Gphone, but it's discontinued. Unfortunately, the two other known BT chatter apps, ProximityMail and Bluetooth Chat, don't work (follow the linsk below to find out more about them if interested).
