Question What is a good shopping list program?

I am looking for a shoppinglist program that works good on the X51v? Anyone know one?

thanks all so far. :)

I have tried a few but or they are in conflict with wm5 (my guess) or the lettertype is all out of line etc.
I will have a try with that handyshopper.

ListPro is excellent, though I don't know if it runs under WM5.

Great program by Ilium. I use it on my X51v along with Ilium's eWallet.

It works well on WM2K3.2 and the databases migrated without incident from a Palm T3.

Works beautifully under WM5 on my Axim51v! My shopping lists were easily imported from the Palm version. The current PPC version is still being tested by the author but it sure works well as is.

There is even a Yahoo group to support this highly recommended free shopping program. I use it for just about every store that I frequent on a regular basis.

It does work. It is distributed free (donations welcome). I used it for years on my Palm and imported all my lists. Get it! :approve:

I had the same question (although I did post it) just a few days ago when I went to the store. Right before I left my house I tried two programs, HandyShopper because it's freeware and the trial of ListPro. I ended up using ListPro 99% of the time because it was so much easier to use. However after comming home and being fustrated with HandyShopper I went online and read the manual. Once I new how to actually use HandyShopper I felt it was a better program (for shopping lists anyway).

The single most important feature of handy shopper is the abilty to have a your pre-made list, then while at the market you can enter the prices of each item and even add to the list. Handy Shopper will even calculate the total (including taxes) for you.

However for general lists I prefer ListPro because it has an easier layout and better looking user-interface.

P.S. Used it on my Dell Axim x51v A06

Hi,

Dreamee Soft has Shopping List. I think it is $10 but there might be discount codes somewhere in the forums. It doesn't look like there is a demo/trail version.

I couldn't figure out what they were doing at first then it sort of clicked. Clear out what they had entered and add everything you buy at Wal-Mart, Costco, Sam's Club, etc. Go back and check mark everything you want to buy on your next trip and it gives you a shopping list.

There is room for improvement with this program. If you can find it for $5 or less, it might be worth giving it a try.

There are good reasons to have different programs for different purposes. I use HandyShopper for repetitive lists, SplashID for secure lists, HanDBase for lists that I wish to view in many different ways, and simple notes (via PIAlarmNotes) for lists that need no special organization other than what directory they are stored into.

See this thread as well.
