Television Listings
Anyone know of an easy way to download tv listings to your pda?
I am looking for something that can intergrate with the appointments maybe, so you would have a little reminder that your show was coming on.
Anyone hear of anything like that?
I tried Yahoo tv, but not exactly what I was looking for.
I am hopeing for an app. that your could use with a tv remote control app., so as you watch tv and change the channels with your pda you can check the listings.
:approve: WOULD THAT BE COOL OR WHAT? :approve:

Try this out. Works with XMLTV and a free subscription from Zap2It.
I've been using it for the past 2 years.....first on my Palm, and now on my Axim.

BTW . . . If you go with PTVL as suggested in the above posts, be sure to find the appointment feature. Tap and hold on a program, select Program Reminder and it will automatically add an appointment on that day and time.

Does anybody else have trouble downloading more than one day with ptvl's weblink program. It downloads one day of info and then tells me that the user name and password weren't accepted. Anybody know how to fix this? I'd really like to get a couple of days at a time.

Where on the zap2it labs website do you specify how many days you want to download? Or is it something that you answer during your registration?

I use PTLV and it works great with one big flaw - all of my Pay-Per-View channels simply show up on the listings as "pay-per-view" and never list specific program information... so the guide doesn't work for PPV for me... anybody else have any luck with PPV listings?

Neither. You specify the days in the PTVL Weblink program. Select Tools, Settings, Options.
