Google Maps\Keyhole\Google Earth on your Axim

after a great deal of searching i found a Java VM for pocket pc, and figured out how to get the google mobile local application that is ment for cell phones to run on my axim.

all you have to do is get the pocket pc vm from here
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/wireless/wsdd/

and go to google.com\vlm and select generic phone and download the application.

You don't have to pay anything. You just need the Websphere runtime and the google map mobile jar and jad files. Search and find the detailed instructions on the board.

I don't get it either. Some sign up issues with valid IBM id required.... not funny.
I guess we need some more help.

Do you realise there is a PDA version of Virtual Earth available. You can download it here:

http://blogs.msdn.com/windowsmobile/...27/649384.aspx

If your in Australia the maps have just been updated.
