Request for MemMaid

Hi,

First off great product. I'm quite happy with everything it does and really don't want it to be able to do much more... however I was wondering what the chances are of the product being able to handle the formatting of memory (ie the BIS and Storage Cards)? The ability to Defragment would also be a nice touch, but the ability to clear all data from the BIS and start fresh would be great.

If you know of an easier way (or freeware) that is capable of doing this as opposed to adding to MemMaid, please feel free to let me know.

Again, thanks for a great product, I'm very happy with having purchased it!

Select All + Delete in a file manager works for me for clearing BIS.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for the nice comments, we're glad that you like MemMaid.

Format is going to be added soon to MemMaid.
Defrag, however, might not be added, as it causes lots of problems with memory cards.
The best way to defrag a memory card is to copy your files some where else, format the card then copy your files back to the memory card.

For the format options, will we be able to choose cluster sizes and such?

Only if you're doing this thru a card reader on a desktop PC.

Hi,

We can't really say right now.
This feature is in the very early stages right now and we haven't finalized the details of it yet.

Thanks for the reply... I figured the easiest way was just to run it through a Card Reader.

AKAJohnDoe - Thanks, I'll give that a whirl next time I hard reset. I reinstalled some stuff after a HR recently and realized I had settings return that I didn't want... that's what made me bring this thread up.
