Tim 850R

I downloaded NoteM for pocketpc'03 on my Axim X3i and it runs just fine. There's one problem. It records but i can BARELY hear it during playback. If my hearing weren't perfect i'd simply assume it didnt even record! I have checked the mic volume in the system settings, playback/system volume, everything i can think of. I was initially saving to my sandisk sd card but after reading the glitches regarding kingston cards i switched to saving the files on to the main memory. I used high and low bitrates. Nothing fixes it! Here's what's even wierder - I go over to the record feature on the notes program, record something and play it back - and the volume is fine! what on earth is going on here, I can't figure out.
