Advanced Explorer

This maybe a repeat. I was reading another post on manipulating files on the Axim and thought I would look around and found this one...

Advanced Explorer

Note:

Advanced Explorer will changed to donationware. If you think this program is good and you want to support the development, please donate. Donation is up to you. You can use this program freely for any purpose even you don't donate.

:D

Resco Explorer is overall better, but Advanced Explorer is FREE. I use Advanced Explorer personally because I don't want to shell out cash for a decent file explorer that SHOULD have been included in the OS. (rant, rant...) File Explorer is horrid!

Advanced Explorer looks very similar to Resco, but dosen't have unzip support (I use ezyUnZIP for that, which is also freeware) or a registry editor (again I use a freeware app, TascalRegEdit). Sure it's nice to have it all in one program, but if I can get three separate free apps that do the same thing, why pay money?

One thing Advanced Explorer has over Resco is the "Recycle bin" which has saved me more than a couple times. That was one thing I didn't like about PPC at first. On a PC, you can always recover your deleted files if you mistakenly erase them. Not so on PPC; once it's erased it's gone. Advanced Explorer gives me back that safety-net. :)

Ditto

I pretty much echo rbg08. Free allows me to overlook any small fault that I might find.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Advanced Explorer is now shareware.

If you like a free explorer, try Total Commander, available from the download\utilities section of this site.
