Hello All
I have a X51 with ROM 04 with Journal Bar 3.4.5. I downloaded a little over a month ago. Everything worked well until a couple of days ago when I would try to update weather and news it would lock up my Axim. I would have to soft reset and then it would happen again as soon as I pressed the update button. Finally I had to unistall the program so the PDA would not lock up. Any ideas what is causing this ? Other than this my PDA works well until this started happening a couple of days ago

Have you tried re-installing it. I don't have a X51V, but have had similar problems with Journal Bar on my X50V WM2003 and uninstalling it and re-installing it has helped.

Thanks for getting back with me. I have tried to reinstall it but it will do the same thing again Then I have to go back and unistall it again

Same here man. I thought I was crazy. I wondered if I was going to be able to uninstall it before it locked up actually. I actually didn't uninstall it, but disabled it on the today screen. Once I did that, everything was ok. I re-enabled it since, but have everything but weather turned off. It seems to be ok.

Happend for me just a couple days ago, and nothing had changed on my Axim. I would get an error something about shell32.exe if I recall correctly.
