how come when I click the link to get more information on pocket flash player I get a "the page cannot be found" error?

isn't pocket flash player a free download from macromedia? why are you charging for this? http://www.macromedia.com/software/f...etpc/2002.html

you can't play .swf files in your ppc if you don't have a program that creates a html file linking the .swf for you. That's what my program does.

that's just an "ActiveX" plugin ... you still need a 3rd party software ( Bryht Flash player or ctitanic's Pocket Flash Player...etc ) to make it a fully viewable PLAYER to play SWF in windows/fullscreen...otherwise, it is only through a browser...etc !!!

Macromedia only provided the ActiveX ... you might be thinking of the DESKTOP version of their player, which is FREE...yes ... ;)

well.. Pocket Flash Player uses Macromedia plugin to display flash on PIE.. other than that it doesn't do much.

Quick question, Maybe I am missing something, but in the registered verison of Tweaks2K2 (v3.18.0.1), why are the tool bar, left top bar and right top bar grayed out?

because those registry hacks do not work in WM5.
Disabled hacks mean only one thing: They do not work in your device. ;)

If you can call that a false alarm good for you. I can't.
It's not a bug it's just a "new security feature" designed by Microsoft to suck more money from developers and users at the same time. Due to this "new security feature" programs like ozVGA and VGA_SE are not working any more in WM5 (I know that out there is a version of ozVGA working but using electronic signatures that are not ment to be distributed, so that makes that copy illegal).

Again, if you can call that "false alarm" good for you because I'm really concern about that issue and what we are going to see next (Verizon - I believe - is selling a PPC Phone Edition already Application locked, so the days of users installing what ever they want are almost over, the days of freeware are almost over... )

dude !! ... what's with all the confusion words you interpreting???

my point is..by that post of your ..you are claiming that the MUIFIX did not do the job it was intended to ... meanwhile ..it IS working for us ...that's what I meant by false alarm ...because of your momentarily claimed !

and if you read some of the post from that thread ...I even pointed out to you how your wording about activating/deactivating - able/disable ... doesn't parallel with the poll you've set up could confused people :p

for example:

ENABLE the MUITEST = DEACTIVATING the prompt
DISABLE using the MUITEST = ACTIVATING the prompt

vice versa I can understand ..but when you cross terms ..it can be confusing ;)

~~~again ... the MUITEST did the job for me ... I DO see the flower ... so what was your meaning in that post ??? that's what I was refering to the "false alarm" ... I never intended to lean toward the MS monopoly crap !! :D
The program ACTIVATES the Security Prompt and DEACTIVATES the security prompt. With the security prompt ACTIVATED you should have the MUI problem and the flower wont show up in the center of the screen. With the security prompt DEACTIVATED you wont have the MUI problem any more so the flower will be shown in the middle of the screen. I don't understand what is the confusion about these words. That's a fact. .... EDITED (I went so far in my explanation so I deleted the rest :) I'm having a bad day I guess...)
I guess it all depended on the point of view ...whether you are coming from the program's view of action ...or the device prompt's view of action.
LMAO !! :D ... my head is clear now ..we are on the same page :p
I'm so glad that I get to see the flower ...hahahaah :D
thanks for both programs ;) ... they are the first 2 things that I do to a fresh device ...next to the "DISABLING" the error report ... :D
